I joined TSB Bank (now Lloyds Bank) in 1972 and progressed through most roles in the Bank to become a Bank Manager in 1992, managing several branches round the Derby area. I considered myself an 'old-fashioned' Bank Manager, believing that the customer relationship was paramount.
I have vast experience in money management - Lending, Debt management, Budgeting, as well as supporting my clients when dealing with all aspects of 'everyday' life such as Bereavement, Divorce, Power of Attorney, Court Protection*. I am also qualified as a Financial Adviser.
I had the pleasure of working with Alastair Wilson at the Belper Branch for 4 years and was delighted to join him when he invited me to become his Practice Manager as I had recently taken early retirement from the Bank.
I believe together, the 'old-fashioned' attitude of looking after our clients is what this Practice can bring to the Financial Marketplace.
